By submitting your wedding photos and story to DUO Magazine, you agree that:
You are the copyright holder or have permission from the rightful copyright holder/s to do so.
DUO Magazine may use the images in promoting the Mr+Mrs section in DUO Magazine and on the DUO Magazine website or any of our affiliated websites, as well as in advertising, be it in print, online or TV.
DUO Magazine may use the images and/or your story to promote DUO Magazine’s Mr+Mrs wedding feature via our social media accounts which include, but are not limited to: Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter.
Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry into the DUO Magazine Wedding of the Year competition. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and, to the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and other references to this competition, these Terms and Conditions prevail.
Who can enter: The Competition is open to all couples and photographers who are residents of either Townsville, Mount Isa, Burdekin, Ingham, Charters Towers or the surrounding region. How to enter: To enter, couples or professional photographers must, email submissions to email@example.com prior to the 5th of January 2018. All entries must include: entrant’s and/or photographer’s mobile phone number and contact email address.
Send 6-10 High Resolution 300dpi images at A4 size via www.wetransfer.com or www.dropbox.com to firstname.lastname@example.org before the 5th of January 2018.
Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, their agencies and companies associated with this competition are not eligible to enter.
Entry period: The period for receiving entries begins at midnight on 2 December, 2017 and closes at midnight on 5 January, 2018.

All weddings will be published at the discretion of the Promoter. DUO reserves the right to edit text to suit DUO publications where necessary.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of submissions (including the submitters identity and place of residence) and to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any submissions; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition, as appropriate.
Any cost associated with accessing the competition is the submitters responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant.
