GUCCI WOWS IN MILAN
Gucci’s Spring/Summer Women’s Collection 2017, Magic Lanterns, recently wowed audiences at Milan Fashion Week. The venue was swathed in metallic pink mirror cubes and the collection looked like the best game of dress-ups you could imagine with rainbow gowns, fringed jackets, loofah-like tunics and signature pussy bows.
YOU CAN LEAVE YOUR HAT ON
Designed and founded by creative couple Tess Corvaia and Robert Tilbury (both under 30 and hailing from Queensland), Lack Of Color hats have been worn by international celebrities such as Gigi Hadid. Their latest collection, Remember When, features new fedora, boater and cowboy-style hats.
THE BODY IS BACK
Supermodel Elle Macpherson is returning to lingerie with the launch of Elle Macpherson Body. The collaboration with underwear group Simon de Winter sees the new range stocked at Myer and David Jones. At the heart of the collection is a selection of sport-inspired T-shirt bras and knickers in microfibre air-tech with bold fashion colours like citronelle, ginger, winetasting and Mykonos blue. The nude offering, called Sand, makes regular nudes look bland.
Marcs’ 2016 Spring/Summer campaign was shot on the shores of Avalon Beach and focuses on bright colours, tropical patterns and unique textures that are easily injected into a summer wardrobe.
SIZZLING SWIM COLLECTION
Bec & Bridge have just launched a head-turning swim collection called The Salts of the Earth. The campaign was photographed in Sydney’s eastern suburbs and features refined new cuts in earthy, rust and terracotta tones.
