DUO Magazine is produced by a small team of local people who love what they create and the positive influences their work has on the lives of the people of Townsville.
Now in its fourteenth year, DUO Magazine is Townsville’s complimentary bi-monthly lifestyle publication. DUO’s duty is to promote our city, our community, our achievers, charities and local businesses with insightful interviews and profiles. DUO Magazine’s sections feature new product news, home and fashion trends, health and fitness advice, business and development information, family matters, arts and culture, dining and entertainment – all supported by advertising that works for our clients. The DUO Magazine reader (women and men 25-54 years) appreciates the fact that DUO is a high-quality publication that attracts quality advertisers.
WHAT YOU’LL READ IN DUO
Our editorial approach is to introduce our readers to as many local people as we can fit and tell their inspiring stories so that our readers are moved emotionally and/or learn something worthwhile. In a city like Townsville, we understand that ‘people know people’ so often DUO Magazine is picked up by our readers to see who’s in it that they know or know of. And who they want to know about. One of the comments we get all the time from people we write about is that they had no idea how many people read DUO and the breadth of our readership demographic. They often say we made them famous (in a good way).
DUO is well-loved by our readers because we are dedicated to promoting the positive aspects of our city, highlighting our inclusive multi-cultural way of life and helping those less fortunate in our community by raising their charity’s or service provider’s profile and supporting them with donations, involvement or stories.
