Tell us a little about yourself?
I’m a 19 year old Burdekin girl, born and bred. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary) at James Cook University in Townsville and am in my second year. I also work part time at the Home Hill swimming pool as a lifeguard and love playing netball and exercising to stay healthy. I enjoy being out in the natural environment and do not mind getting a little dirt under my fingernails. Making time for family is a major priority of mine and I enjoy a good night out with the girls.
Describe your style?
I would have to say that ‘my style’ incorporates a variety of different styles that don’t all fall under one umbrella. I always seek comfort and tend to be drawn to outfits with a vintage twist.
Most treasured item?
Silver Witchery watch; it matches with almost any outfit and is a very practical accessory.
Labels you like?
I do not particularly have a favourite label; I tend to buy what I like despite what the tag says.
Best shopping trip?
I cannot label any one shopping trip as the best shopping trip. I tend to think of all shopping trips as being great – despite spending too much money!
Your style guru?
I don’t follow any one style icon, although I really like the comfortable laid back boy-friend jeans with a baggy white shirt look, in conjunction with classic structured formal styles.
You’d never be caught wearing…?
It is daring to say never; however, I am not a huge fan of animal print or pants where you could see my cheeks (bottom).
Wardrobe item you can’t bring yourself to part with and why?
Denim shorts, I have a billion pairs.
Shoes or dress first?
For me, the dress always comes first. Once I have found the dress I can then look for the shoes and accessories to complete the look.
Meaningful last words?
Back yourself, if you love it… WEAR IT!
